Campaign ad recalls defeat of KKK cross-burning by Native Americans who ‘refused to be afraid’

North Carolina state Rep. Charles Graham (D) announced his campaign for Congress with a video referencing the Battle of Hayes Pond, when Native Americans and community members stood together in 1958 against the “ignorance and hate” of the Ku Klux Klan.
